WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear long pants like jeans, closed toe shoes like sneakers, sweatshirt, and sunscreen. We provide raingear as this is an outdoor adventure at an elevation and clouds, sprinkles, and wind may come and go!

| PANIOLO RANCH
Check in time is 8:00 AM at the Pony Express Ranch Office. Please leave at 6:45 AM from the West side (Lahaina side) and South Side (Kihei side).
From the West Side/Lahaina Side: Leave at 6:45 AM and head back to the main airport on hwy 30; turn right on hwy 380; turn right on 36 by K-Mart; short distance – turn right on hwy 37 (crater hwy and follow signs to the national park); go up 6 miles, turn left on 377. Continue 5.5 miles on hwy 377 until hwy 378 and turn left. Go 2.5 miles up 378, on the left hand side there is a red building that says Pony Express and that is the Ranch Office!
From South Maui/Kihei side: Leave at 6:45 AM and head back to the main airport on hwy 311, turn right on 380 by the church, right on 36 by K-Mart, right on 37; go up 6 miles, turn left on 377; go 5.5 miles on 377 to 378 turn left; go 2.5 miles up 378 and on the left is the red building that says Pony Express!

| MAUKA RANCH
It is a 1 hour fifteen minute drive from Kihei and Lahaina. 11:30am Mauka Ride checks in at 11:00am. 2:00pm Mauka Ride (when scheduled) checks in at 1:30pm.
From the West Side/Lahaina Side: Head back to the main airport on hwy 30; turn right on hwy 380; turn right on 36 by K-Mart; short distance – turn right on hwy 37 (crater hwy and follow signs to the national park); go up 6 miles, turn left on 377. | CRATER JUNCTION 1
Check in time is 8:30 AM at the Pony Express Ranch Office (to do the paperwork). Please leave at 7:15 AM from the West side (Lahaina side) and South Side (Kihei side).
From the WEST SIDE/LAHAINA: Head back to the main airport on hwy 30; turn right on hwy 380; turn right on 36 by K-Mart; short distance – turn right on hwy 37 (crater hwy and follow signs to the national park); go up 6 miles, turn left on 377. Continue 5.5 miles on hwy 377 until hwy 378 and turn left. Go 2.5 miles up 378, on the left hand side there is a red building that says Pony Express and that is the Ranch Office! After check in and paperwork there you continue up to the visitor center parking lot just past mile marker 20 where we will meet you at 9:15am at the Sliding Sands Trail Head.
From SOUTH MAUI/KIHEI side: Head back to the main airport on hwy 311, turn right on 380 by the church, right on 36 by K-Mart, right on 37; go up 6 miles, turn left on 377; go 5.5 miles on 377 to 378 turn left; go 2.5 miles up 378 and on the left is the red building that says Pony Express! After check in proceed to the top where we will meet you at 9:15am at the visitor center parking lot just past mile marker 20, at the Sliding Sands Trail Head.
SUNRISE VIEWERS: If you let us know you are going for the sunrise, we can check you in at the top of the crater just past mile marker 20 at the Visitor Center Parking Lot. Take your breakfast and water up with you, as our ride includes lunch.
A hat with a tether strap is encouraged. You will need $10.00 admission fee for the national park and a full tank of gas.

Check in time is 10:00am at the top of the crater just past mile marker 20 at the visitor center parking lot, where the Sliding Sands Trail Head is located. Please leave at 8:00 AM from the West side (Lahaina side) and South Side (Kihei side).
From the WEST SIDE/LAHAINA: Leave at 8:00 AM and head back to the main airport on hwy 30; turn right on hwy 380; turn right on 36 by K-Mart; short distance – turn right on hwy 37 (crater hwy and follow signs to the national park); go up 6 miles, turn left on 377. Continue 5.5 miles on hwy 377 until hwy 378 and turn left, proceed to the top where we will meet you at 10:00am at the visitor center parking lot just past mile marker 20.
